Thread: A logo that i made few weeks ago

I made a logo for a blog of a friend of mine few weeks ago, unfortunately the blog is closed !
here is the logo :

what could i do better ?
any suggestions ?

I think that the idea you have going is nice and sleek 2.0, I just think that you should put it in a larger font and perhaps change the color of the text from dark green to orange or something, Play around with it and i'm sure you'll find something you really like.

I think its too much green in the logo put a bit more lighter colors and change the font make it more interesting

Nice logo dude you have skill i have to say im sure you could be paid for your work.

Looks nice, although you should work a little on the background. Try to add the spotlight effect.

It is too much green, maybe add more yellow or brown and use some gradient to make it more professional, anyway I think overall it is a cool logo

A few things:

The star is a bit small
There seems to be a great deal of extra space in the image
The white on the graphic on the left is unsightly, I don't think it should be there.
Having a green logo and words on a green background looks odd, too. I'd change it up a bit.

Lastly, your own domain would be optimal.. they're fairly cheap too.
