Thread: On-Page Optimization vs. Off-Page Optimization

Both are very important...
IF your site is good looking people will come again and again and if you do on page you will get good rankings thats what I thought...

If you are doing SEO the both "on-page" and "off-page" are very important to do well.

But most of the effort you have to make for off page SEO if the competition is very high and you have to concentrate on quality link building.

Link building is very important part of SEO and if you tried to build link quickly then you would be banned by Google so you have to know the quantity of links to be built every day understanding relevancy of the links.

I'm choosing On page optimization coz takes into account everything you can physically do to change your website (be it in the design or in the backend code that nobody sees). This includes strategies like altering a title tag, updating the meta keywords tag, or even changing the actual text on the webpage that everyone can see. As a rule, if you have to upload your website to your host as a result of any SEO you have done to your website, you have made on page SEO changes.

For most newbiew i would recommend starting off with a clean wordpress setup with the "all-in-one" seo pluging. Without proper on-page seo, ranking for a choosen keyword will be hard, if your headlines, metatags, keywords etc isnt proper configured.
I can a guide about this if someone is intrested?

Both On Page and Off Page SEO are important for the SEO of any website.we can't leave any of them.On Page SEO is the base and Off Page SEO is like the "polish work" means more the Off Page SEO more shining on the Search Engine.We have to do both.

The algorithms of search engines change frequently and no one can say what they will be in the future but currently there is parity in the importance of onpage SEO and offpage SEO. Keywords will always matter but quality backlinks are even more important. Getting good search engine placement without quality backlinks is very hard.
The best approach to SEO is to combine onpage and offpage factors. The fact that it is possible to get decent rankings with keyword optimization only doesn't mean that this is the way to go. Relying only on backlinks is also not a good idea. The winning strategy is to apply both onpage SEO and offpage SEO and hope that this will affect search engine placement in a positive way.
