    Question Do Follow and No Do Follow Backlinks

    I have heard many users quoting that do follow links are the one that counts. But my doubt is if you have a no do follow link, doesn't it add any value to your site?

    To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

    DoFollow Links are definitely the links that you would prefer when building backlinks and increasing your site Pagerank. NoFollow links do bring value to your site because they still help promote your website and provide a way for new visitors to get to your site. The only thing bad about NoFollow links is that when search engines are crawling a site and they come across a NoFollow link they will not follow that link back to the site that is listed. In turn it will usually not count as a backlink and will not help your Pagerank. The link below goes a little more in-depth about the whole DoFollow / NoFollow links under the Blogs and Forums section. Hope that helps

    Dofollow = Pagerank plus traffic
    nofollow = traffic

    Although nofollow links are not a complete waste, search engines other than google do count the nofollow links.

    Do follow links are the ones to aim for but any link back to your site is not negative! the more the merrier in my eyes.

    Search engines uses search bots or web crawlers to access and index web pages. That’s how you see websites in the search results of Google and Yahoo is called do follow link.
    A no follow blog means the opposite. It doesn’t allow search engine spiders to crawl and follow the link.

    I will prefer to dofollow link that no-follow because, do Follow links are approximately ten times as good as NoFollow links. Any time you can comment on a DoFollow instead of a NoFollow blog you should. DoFollow is a great way to say thank-you to your blog visitors.
