There are many hosting companies which provide free hosting , just try to google or you can find some members in Digitalpoint who offers free hosting for trail.

That is a pretty good and comprehensive list. If you are serious about a site though then I don't recommend free hosting.

I agree, If you are trying to make a successful site and make money off of it, free hositng is probably not the road to take due to most of their service limitations. They are good for smaller sites though like "mom and pop" local shops, family/personal sites, etc.

From my old, old experience (which took place a few years ago), 000webhost.com is the best (I hope I got the domain right).

use 100mb if you want to test a free host but i'd recommend for you to look for cheap hosts which provide $1/month or $5 yearly. you can find such hosts at Cheapest Web Hosting Offers – Promotional Codes – Promo Codes – Discount Codes =)

If you can't spend money on paid hostings, I recommend you to go for 0000free.com webhosting.
They offer 2,000MB space, 20,000 BW, also support PHP, Mysql, Email, Online web editor, as per my experience they are good..
ANother option is 000webhost.com...
But get some money as soon as you can and get a paid hosting....
All free hostings are good at some extent...

well free hosting plans creates problems often. for that its better to get hosting plans. there are many providers who do hosting at very economical rates. i'll suggest thewebpole.com. its the cheapest among the hosting services. they also have many plans to help the people.
