Thread: How many monitors do your use?

Apparently using more than one monitor can boost productivity in the long run by 80%, I've used 2 monitors in the past but they've never been the same brand or size so it was hard to focus on one and then change to a different type.

One such good use for multiple monitors would be for monitoring lots of currency levels on forex as shown in this image:

Its really good to see that pic with lot of monitors. But as a blogger just one screen is enough to me for blogging and my online works. And also voted as 1 monitor.

I am using one monitor only.

I like one monitor, I prefer it to anything else, but sometimes I have so much on my plate that multiple monitors are just necessary.
I've used up to nine in the past and that was interesting. It helped me make low $xxxx in one day because I could do everything at once.
I need to try that again some time.

wow 9 monitors sounds kind of interesting, what were you using so many for? Also how did you wire that many devices together?

i have used 2 before but 1 is just easyer i find. ok i understand if you have more monitors you can see more but how can you get more done you only have 2 hands and 1 keyboard and mouse

Well if you have dreamweaver open on one screen and your ftp client and messaging windows split on another then it saves having to keep shifting between windows every few seconds, over time it's meant to be more efficient.

I only have one monitor on my desktop, and I have a HP laptop as well. I don't need to use more than one in my home, because I'm confident with just one.
