sound card (also known as an audio card) is a computer expansion card that facilitates the input and output of audio signals to and from a computer under control of computer programs. Typical uses of sound cards include providing the audio component for multimedia applications such as music composition, editing video or audio, presentation, education, and entertainment (games). Many computers have sound capabilities built in, while others require additional expansion cards to provide for audio capability.

Do people really care abouyt sound cards these days and are they willing to upgrade? Or is the stock sound card that comes with the laptop or computer fine enough?

I don't see the need to upgrade, stock should definitely be fine. But at least they aren't too expensive. I just never worry about them at all, never saw the point.

Exactly my point. The stock is good enough for most people. Unless you are an artist or recording person.

Even if I got one, I probably wouldn't see the difference. So, for me, there's no point of getting one.

It would cost alot of money for me to get one, I need to get a few computer i think to have one for pure spam, and the other for pure whitehat.
